Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) Safety Rules & Procedures

Introduction

This online course covers the knowledge and application of Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) safety rules and codes of practice for work on or near electrical apparatus, including the relevant State and Territory safety rules, codes of practice and enterprise-based procedures and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution or rail work functions. It encompasses responsibilities for health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels and adherence to safety practices as part of the normal way of doing work. It also covers the performance of the procedures to gain access for work on or near electrical network infrastructure in the same context.

This course is 100% online. There are several items to the course that must be completed before we can assess you.

Time Frame:

This course may take 3 – 4 hours to complete the theory and assessment submission. Please take note that an assessor will be manually marking your JSA and Vicinity Authority. Please allow up to 48 hours for marking.

How Long Is The Certification Valid For?

Industry recommendation is a refresher every year.
