Introduction
This course covers the skills required for working with telecommunications pits and underground cabling. This includes preparing a site to install a new pit, completing pit replacement and/or remediation work, identifying underground assets, pit and conduit types, cable dispenser set-up and hauling practices.
Additionally, students who already hold a current Open Cabler Registration can also provide their Statement of Attainment for this unit to their cabling registrar to have the Underground Endorsement added.
